2025 New Year resolution for all North Americans.
This message is for everyone, and especially our political leadership.
Its very clear that future geopolitics and the rising cost and risk of long supply chains will make a North American continental trade bloc the most sensible approach to gain back our security and ailing prosperity.
This means we must have a much more secure and far more economically
localized North American union.
We must all give our new government leadership teams full support within a far more practical and effective democratic environment, and productively hold them to account as they work to recover our North American prosperity.
This will mean all involved working together to do the following….
USMCA… new deal
Immediately get the USMCA trade deal realigned and fully agreed between all three nations involved.
Canada must quickly replace its current liberal leadership with a new government that must work far better with the USA team on reaching a long-lasting agreement. Although each national leadership must always do the best for its own nation, there is so much common ground that can be leveraged with mutual respect and benefit.
Mexico must better realize the power of such an economic alliance and adjust its trade policies to avoid trade duplicity.
USA must come to realize the mutual advantage of a USMCA environment that offers greater economic autonomy and security.
Trade rules
Work together so that trade and investment activity outside of the USMCA is minimized so that we retain and further develop as much value, productivity and prosperity within the USMCA.
Rapidly expand our mining and agricultural resource sectors to ensure that as much as practical we are energy and raw materials self sufficient, including critical minerals to support our modern and local industries.
Energy
Cease all taxpayer funding and legislation on climate change mitigation initiatives including renewables and EVs. But ensure were needed, climate adaption efforts are maintained.
Re-deploy such funding into nuclear energy projects to improve energy reliability and costs.
Work with USMCA members to expand the energy sectors to support total energy independence within the USMCA.
Taxpayer Expense
Focus on the economy and stop taxpayer funding of wasteful social issues that do not affect the bulk of our citizens!
Resize and reprioritize our public services so that services are provided far more productively, effectively and affordably.
Eliminate the expense of providing foreign aid until we have eliminated our citizens living in tents on our streets and our children going hungry.
Rethink our responsibilities toward Indigenous peoples, as it has clearly become an unfair cash grab game.
Halt all UN initiatives of DEI, SDG, ESG and reset our schools, universities, military organizations and public sectors away from the corrosive WOKE ideology.
Immigration and border control
Stop all immigration from certain unfriendly nations, and only admit future immigration candidates that are pre-approved as a real benefit to our economies and demonstrate compatibility with our western culture.
Deport all the undesirable illegible immigrants over the long-term, starting with those with pre-existing criminal records and ensure they never return.
Into the future continue to admit foreign students with only educational visas but without a work option, and with any breach meaning instant deportation. The firm promise will be made for a first-rate education, but not in any way any kind of promise of an entry to a job or citizenship now or in the future.
Strengthen all our borders to ensure entry to our nations are secure and pre-approved.
Defense & Security
Strengthen our defense industries to ensure a secure continental environment. Limit our military support outside the continental Americas unless requests for external military support are fully paid for by others.
Public demonstrations will only be allowed with pre-approved permits, and only approved for issues that effect our local communities. Permits will be time-limited dependent on the issues being demonstrated. Also, disruption to public or private services or property will not be allowed.
Ensure crime is reduced with new laws for criminal sentencing with more rapid processing by the courts.

The carbon net-zero campaign reminds me of the Suicide Squad from the movie Life of Brian. I'm sure they must have thought it a good idea, but to everyone else it seemed like a bit, well, suicidal. China must be cackling with glee at the thought of winning the war against the west for minimal spend and without firing a single bullet.
