I agree Nigel. In the UK we sit and pontificate rather than take action. I'm not sure why. I've been in the UK since I was 27 - now 64. In South Africa we often did SWOT and at the end of meeting had a firm action plan. In the UK people talk but don't do.

It also seems we put the rights of others before our own. This is probably due to the anti White, anti colonial guilt mindset being taught at school and university. I refuse to be an apologist.
