National Conservatism… Back to the Future!

Many of the citizens in the western world are slowly changing their political position and voting to move toward what is loosely defined as National Conservatism.

I thought I would try in very simple terms to explore where our western politics are heading…...

Many of the citizens in the western world are slowly changing their political position and voting to move toward what is loosely defined as National Conservatism.

This National Conservatism manifests itself in the following ways….

It drives national economics to be far more Nation-centric and Anti-globalization with localized trade blocs being favored.

Such economics will have far less interest in less controlled multilateral trade agreements and unbalanced foreign trade.

The economic focus is much more on an improved balance between national capital and labor.

It will mean a drive toward citizens adding far more value to what they consume and using their own resources that they can locally mined grown and made.

Economics will be driven by less taxation and far less bureaucratic constraints on business activities.

The Culture change is best described as a return to traditional western values and is mainly a huge rejection of all things woke, such as DEI and global initiatives.

It will reject any interference from the experimental utopian pipedreams of the UN and WEF.

It will foster a view that far less immigration is preferred.

The past push for multiculturalism will be abhorred with far more focus on newcomers being demanded to assimilate much more into traditional western norms.

It will reset on sexual diversification with a return to the position that there are only 2 sexes, and that government has no place in the nation’s bedroom.

It will promote the concept that society would be far better off if it were Color blind, and it will remove critical race theory and such DEI teachings from the school systems.

On the Environment it will reject NetZero policies as unnecessary, technologically unattainable, economically unviable and extremely foolish. It will end all subsidies for so called renewables and EVs. But will promote policies to harness nuclear power where practical, and move the nation toward clean air, land, and water. And will foster a sustainable environment, but without any detriment to citizen prosperity.

Governments will be directed to be smaller and must ensure regulations allow for much more personal freedom for citizens, with the focus much more on “how the citizens are doing” and far less about “who we are”.

National Conservatism is considered by many as the best option as we have tried the other quadrants in varying degrees.

We have seen National Socialism and its dangerous fascist and communist outcomes….

We had global conservatism, it was called neoliberalism, and it brought us the disaster of global free trade and the financialization of our economies that has damaged our middle class.

We have recently been exposed to global socialism as defined by the edicts of the UN and its kindred spirit the WEF. For too long the west has been hampered by these globalist edicts and multilateral rules that have not been in the best interest of the western citizens, as it has unfairly transferred wealth from the west to the rest.

So, no more will the citizens tolerate dangerous global free trade.

No more will global multilateral rules that are not in the nations best interest be followed.

No more will mass immigration that has devalued our national citizenship be allowed.

No more will citizens tolerate social self flagellation about what the west was supposed to have done wrong in its past associated with colonialism and white dominance.

No more will they allow our school children to be conditioned to believe that white people are inherently bad.

No more will they allow our school children to be conditioned to believe and be forced to live in unsubstantiated fear that we have a climate emergency.

No more will citizens allow national history to be changed with statue toppling and street name changes.

No more will they tolerate any form of suppression of free speech or allow nefarious social re-engineering or be forced to conform to political correctness.

No more will they allow pious and over-virtuous politicos to tell us what is good for us.

No more will they allow politicos to forget that they must represent the wishes of the citizen majority, and a new system of election process will ensure that this gap is closed.

No more will they allow universities to indoctrinate students with dangerous ideology and propaganda at the expense of free thought and open discussion. Also, so called “safe spaces” will be scrapped so that our youth can learn how to live in the real world.

No more will teachers in so called learning institutions go against the wishes of parents on any aspect of how their children are taught or how they face life’s challenges.

No more will crime and anti-social behaviour be allowed to thrive due to weak judiciary.

No more will the police and our military be disrespected, although they must earn the trust of our citizens as they serve protect and keep us safe.

No more will it be tolerated that citizens go hungry or end up living on the streets in ill health without support, while foreign organizations and entities are being funded with citizen wealth by a gullible government.

No more will the citizens tolerate anything that is not in the best interest of the citizen majority, and this must be accomplished by strong governments that do not overreact to fringe elements in our society.

There will be no such thing as a post industrialized society as in the future each nation must strive to mine grow make and service much more of what it consumes as much as practical.

Also, there will certainly not be anything called a post nation state. The pride in the nation must be re-installed.

In a way its “back to the future” for most western nations as on a good day this was the culture we all tried to emulate in our constitution and citizen bill-of-rights, and for many of us now in our elder years it’s a return to how we were educated, and the values we assumed in our youth.

An example of National Conservatism is Trumpism now underway in the USA, and the goals of the next Canadian Conservative government expected to win the election this year based on the latest polls.

We do see movement toward National Conservatism in some EU countries, but many so called EU national conservative parties look more like center-left parties, and most have weak leadership and so far, appear unable to lead their nations toward national conservatism, and away from the current grip of global socialism. The so called “far-right” parties are still not at the correct critical mass to drive the political agenda.

The challenge will be that many may see these new national policies and conditions as harsh and anti-social, but many others will agree its essential tuff-love to give the nation back to its citizens.

We will see how the future unfolds.
