Wonderful, gives us some hope!

Is this true? It's such a complete volte face. And will it spread? The UK is in deep trouble with this, and Energy Tsar (laugh? I nearly 😩) Edstone Miliband is totally manic about it. It would be so gratifying to see the USA turn this around, so there'd be no excuse for other countries to bankrupt themselves pursuing it.

Both the US and Canadian governments will be dropping all NetZero directions very soon.

Shame your UK politicos are out of step.

I would be very interested in seeing proposed policies based on “climate realism.” At the very least, that would provide an alternative to the proposals of the environmental radicals who demand measures that would destroy entire economies.

The policy is …

Any future climate science and associated policy action will be removed from The UN and managed by each nation with all data shared.

No climate mitigation is needed and all funding will cease. .. There is no climate emergency on this planet!

Only focused adaption to climate change is needed and will be monitored and funded based on the facts that very little change in climate impact has been seen that is not statistically “normal weather” .

Energy policies will be based on the most affordable local energy sources with no government manipulation. In some localities this may mean coal, then gas, then nuclear, as soon as that local economy can migrate effectively without destroying prosperity.

Sustainability (not the UN’s version) will be applied per nation to batter balance local Environment economy and social needs.

Prosperity will be prioritized ….. as the more prosperous a society the more it can cope with balanced sustainability.
