The shaming of the Climate Emergency Industrial Complex.

It’s a shame I have to write this kind of article, but it has to be said, and we are way beyond concerned!

We climate realists waste a lot of our time debunking the wild and weird statements made via the media by many scientists who are trapped in the climate emergency Industrial complex.

To keep the funding going or get that paper published they have to say something eyebrow raising that then gets super amplified by a sensation seeking media.

It has little to do with real science or solid input to future policies and much more to do with keeping the climate emergency narrative going and keeping the funding flowing.

Climate emergency activists capitalize on a compliant and gullible population and some naive government administrations that have already been conditioned through past almost propaganda level predictions of doom to believe we must act or die.

They utilize the transient and random nature of weather to conveniently use weather fluctuations (that are far from unprecedented) to declare them dangerous climate trends, and so they make it look like the climate is getting “worse” when in fact statistically no negative trends exist, or in some cases the reverse may even be true, and we should be celebrating the current outcome.

They always mix firm measured data with wild-assed predictions and unsubstantiated opinions to state their case and continue the climate scare process.

CO2 has been tagged as the villain even though it’s a very poor green house gas with clouds having many orders of magnitude more effect on weather and climate. Many scientists argue that the science is far from settled and that CO2 is not the prime driver of climate change.

Until recently a powerful climate emergency narrative only backed up with unreliable modeled predictions and a small increase in actual average global temperatures has placed pressure on governments to reduce CO2 by eliminating a whole range of fossil fuels that are the prime and foundational energy source of our modern economies that continue to support our ongoing prosperity.

Many of us doubt the validity of this “climate emergency” pressure on industrial and energy policies based on a lack of causation between CO2 and temperature and the fact that strong evidence exists of our past civilizations being exposed to higher temperatures than even those being predicted, and we flourished. Also, the increase in CO2 for whatever the reason has improved the global food supply by greening the planet.

If these “NetZero solutions” were affordable and capable of solving the perceived climate emergency problem without any loss of prosperity, then I suppose our virtuous nature to “save the planet” with the mitigation of CO2 even without substantiated facts could be unleased.

But the impact of NetZero is far from benign to our prosperity and its rushed and panic like implementation will do significant harm to the human race at all stages of economic development by reducing prosperity in rich nations and will mean much loss of life in developing nations.

The good news is that not only are we pushing back with solid factual evidence that the climate emergency activists are wrong, but some governments have decided to disregard the climate emergency narrative, and in some cases are defunding the source of the lies and avoiding a NetZero journey.

Many of us feel that based on the low-risk nature of the climate change impact metrics so far recorded national policies should only focus on planned adaption to a slowly warming planet.

It’s very clear that the Climate emergency narrative and its mobilization via the climate emergency industrial complex has done our citizens a huge disservice and has raised doubt and distrust towards the professionalism of science and related institutions. Certainly, organizations such as the UN and its scientific arm the IPCC have been discredited and may never be believed again by many.

We have a generation of children and young adults now old enough to join the teaching profession who will continue to spout the climate emergency religion and are fully conditioned to only believe that they are doomed.

We have a whole financial community that still thinks that the renewables solution to energy generation can be productive within the economy and they have been mobilized by significant public funding to create ongoing investments that are being thrown at these green projects that will clearly fail once the reality of their weak solution comes due.

We have weak-kneed politicos that recycle the so called will of the climate emergency conditioned citizens to maintain the death spiral of our national prosperity with renewable technology solutions that just wont work.

We have many energy industries that have been held back by the NetZero journey at great expense to the citizens and these important industries will struggle to provide enough affordable energy to support any future industrial growth.

We have an automotive industry that has been hoodwinked into over spending all their profits and R&D budgets on a transition to Electric Vehicles that are now turning out to be unsuitable for most of the populations needs and unviable in terms of the cost of supporting the operating infrastructure to keep them in service. They also demand a supply chain that must support massive amounts of complex material supply to produce such vehicles.

We have a whole generation of young professionals that have hitched their careers to the “green fantasy” who will soon have to be redeployed to more value adding jobs when the green projects are deemed nonviable, and this will result in massive career setbacks and even more prosperity loss.

Although corrective action is underway in some economies, we have wasted our time and wealth on wind and solar when we should have been focused on building up the nuclear solution that can provide orders of magnitude better reliability to meet energy demands and also uses an order of magnitude less materials and real estate to generate the same output.

This green journey has caused the decline in many value adding industries in mainly of the western nations by applying the “green fantasy” of renewables that has jacked up the energy costs to make the local industries uncompetitive and has also disallowed any opportunity for recapitalisation.

The whole climate emergency has become a social religion with those that don’t subscribe to the religion called climate deniers and risking career cancelation etc.

Unfortunately, western democracy has the tendency to need policies to fail before they can be changed through the wasteful democratic process of citizen voting and government changes. So, the citizens have had to feel the prosperity loss before they will vote for different policies to curb the mistake in policy direction.

This policy transformation away from the NetZero mistake is well underway in some western nations, but sadly still not even started in others.

But many are now realizing that NetZero is unnecessary, technologically unattainable, economically unviable and extremely foolish.

Its unnecessary …..as CO2 is proving not to be the prime driver of climate change with many scientists developing clear and objectives arguments to support this position.

Its technologically unattainable ……as so far all attempts to reduce the use of fossil fuels has failed and these alternatives are fast proving to be technologically nonviable in terms of there reliability and fit for purpose.

Its economically unviable ……..as the cost of the new technologies and solutions attract far more complex supply chains and the need for massive capital investment.

Its extremely foolish……. Based on the above.

But the waste of time, human energy and citizen wealth loss created by this colossal mistake called NetZero will go down in the history books as the biggest mistake humans have made since they came down from the trees.
