In 60 years I have not seen any major changes in the Climate/Weather, some years are different to others, periods of drought and where I live 1 period of rain which lasted 3 years, I have to hand it to the Climate Alarmists, demonising something that no one can see, hey that's a good basis for starting a cult.

"...national policies should only focus on planned adaptation to a slowly warming planet..." Such a valid insight, but it doesn't promote hysteria and isn't anti-human enough. I asked some when I was in Singapore (which has a lot of sea-captured land) lately, what they are going to do about sea level rise. They are increasing their dike levels from 3 meters to 4 meters -- and continuing on for $5 Billion allocated so far and $100 Billion total anticipated through 2100 -- without trying to change the entire climate of the Earth. This may or may not prove to be necessary if the 14 cm rise over 100 to 50 years (since 1920 or 1970 -- not clear which year is the real baseline -- but apparently accelerating) is the trend, but they at least have something to show for it (more very valuable land) and have adapted. Ironically, the green energy non-nuclear groups are advocating higher dependence on climate-related sources (wind and solar) while saying that the climate is becoming more unpredictable with wild swings and events.
